I Can Breathe

I can breathe.
I am thankful for my life.
I am the master of my life.
It is up to me to be all I can be.
The power comes from within me for I am made in and of God.
Father, son or daughter, and the holy spirit –
together we three make the divine trinity.
I only need to believe to be.
What I think I become.

Challenges, diversity, setbacks all help me to refine who and what I want to be.

When I can see the goodness in my life and give thanks every day for every blessing in my life, my power grows to create more blessings as I see more & more blessings.

God is good. Life is good.

Freedom and prosperity are mine.

I see a world based in love, peace & understanding that we are all one.
We empower ourselves to be free, to love & care for one another.

As we are all one in the body of Christ.

walking out freely

Black and Light

These are turbulent times to be sure in the U.S. The promises from many that 2020 was going to be an eye-opening year has certainly not disappointed. Clear vision to see what is really going on is to take place during this year 2020. At many times, I am at a loss for words for it all. At these times, I remember to stop, be still, and give it to God. All will be well in God’s time. The problem is we never know how long God’s time exactly is…so I am waiting and holding the light. During this time, I keep hearing the words from Stop In the Name of Love.

Today, I was chastised for saying ALL lives matter instead of Black lives matter. I believe black lives matter as do yellow, red, brown, white, and olive. Every human life matters, in my opinion. I just think when I say “black” lives matter it shows separation. I am tired of all the separation. We are not separate. We are one. And we all matter!!! We are each uniquely and divinely created in and of God, source of all.

The color black is actually made up of all the colors of the rainbow into one color. The color black represents all the colors of the human race in one color to be technical. So, then let us be technical and when we say black lives matter let us understand that color represents all lives matter. And no, I am not passively racist by saying so. Maybe the ones who are so quick to point and judge others are passively racist. We often see in others what we cannot see in ourselves – mirroring and projection. We all have shadow sides we need to explore. 2020 seems to also be shaping up as a big shadow reveal year. Maybe we are to clearly see our own shadows? After all, how can we create a new earth full of love and peace when we cannot be honest with ourselves and our own shadows?

There is so much injustice in the world for so many people. From the Chinese people under communist rule to Brazil’s struggle for freedom to migrant workers in the field to refugees fleeing from their countries to the native American Indians whose land was taken from them, to the ancestry of slavery, to the immigrant looking for a better life the human plight continues and the list goes on.

As a lightworker, I believe my main purpose is to hold the light, to shine the light, and to share the light with others. What is the light? The light is represented by the high vibrations of love, joy, peace, forgiveness, truth and understanding. The light stands opposite of the dark and yet they are one in our world of duality. Duality was what I thought I was going to write about today because I have learned so much and am anxious to share it with you, but as I started to write, it seemed this is what Spirit wanted me to express first.

Darkness exists in our world just as does the light. Darkness is where the lower vibrations of hate, fear, anger, dishonesty, and greed live. It is in darkness that much evil is perpetrated both figuratively and literally. I think it is because it is hidden in the dark unlike in the light. As it turns dark at night currently, it seems to embolden the violent rioters to inflict more hurt and damage. We each have a choice to live in the dark or live in the light.

I recently learned about Ho’oponopono from the medium I saw during my trip to Texas in February this year. She said it would be a good practice for me to make peace with my inner child and shadow side. I looked up Ho’oponopono on the flight back home. Once I looked it up, I realized this was not something new to me. I had heard and briefly practiced it a year earlier through an activity on the Collective Evolution website.

Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice for healing. Ho’oponopono means to make (ho’o) right (pono) right (pono) to correct relationship problems. Ponopono means “to put to rights; to put in order or shape, correct, revise, adjust, amend, regulate, arrange, rectify, tidy up, make orderly or neat”.

Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, recognized as a kahuna lapaʻau (healer) in Hawaii brought her updated version of Ho’oponopono to the world. Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono® (SITH®) is an updated Hawaiian problem solving process to release memories that are experienced as problems. She was recognized by the State of Hawaii as a Living Treasure in 1983. (https://www.hooponopono.org/)

“If we can accept that we are the sum total of all past thoughts, emotions, words, deeds and actions and that our present lives and choices are colored or shaded by this memory bank of the past, then we begin to see how a process of correction or setting aright can change our lives, our families and our society.”
~ Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona

Dr. Hew Len learned that by using this potent forgiveness and releasing process, one is able to “clear your mind of subconscious blocks so that destiny and desire can take over and help you get what you truly want from life. It clears out unconsciously accepted beliefs, thoughts, and memories that you don’t even know are holding you back.” Dr. Len and Joe Vitale co-authored the book Zero Limits, which chronicles this journey.

So, this is deep, but hang in there and reread it a few times … Dr. Len used this technique by himself to clear past traumas for high security inmates he was working with by practicing Ho’oponopono over their files. Close to quantum science, the fundamentals of Ho’oponopono is that what you observe, you influence. To a certain degree, you have a part of responsibility in what you experience, if not for simply being there as everything is interrelated and all one. In the Hawaiian traditional way of seeing life, we function from the conscious mind that decides everything we do, regulates our habits, etc. The subconscious, also known as the inner child, witnesses everything without words. The subconscious is the scribe to our inner world, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and memories. Finally, there is the higher self which directly connects us to source, many refer to this as the soul or super conscious. Our higher self is our inside voice, the wisdom part of ourselves that surprises us with amazing insights and maturity. Our higher self, or super conscious, can communicate directly with our subconscious. However, it is difficult for most of us to consciously connect to either the subconscious or super conscious. Therefore, rekindling with our subconscious who has recorded everything could be of great benefit for us to see our shadows and heal ourselves which in turn heals others as we are all one in super consciousness.

Put simply, if we all practice Ho’oponopono with the intent to heal our world then we will in fact heal our world. I have started practicing this every night when I go to bed. You can also practice it while looking at yourself in the mirror.  There are many videos or recordings with the words which I use as I fall asleep. I envision different people as I say the words to myself including envisioning my younger self. Lately, I have envisioned George Floyd and protestors too. I have even envisioned politicians I dislike.  Here are a couple of options, there are many more on YouTube.

Ho’oponopono Song

Ho’oponopono Meditation

Along with practicing Ho’oponopono, I propose we shine a light on the color black. Let us celebrate the color black for what it is – the summation of all color – by shining the light of love, peace, forgiveness, healing, and understanding. I am lighting one candle to symbolize our unity as all one human species on this one earth under our one God, divine Source of All while saying the Ho’oponopono prayer:

I love you.   I am sorry.   Please forgive me.   Thank you.

I genuinely believe as a collective we can affect change in our world by this one simple act of lighting one candle with this intention. Let us shine the light in the darkness of our world. Let us hold this light for all to see, to come home to, to find the peace and healing so many seek.

You Are the Light

This is going to be a great week to get in touch with yourself through light. To come to know and see your internal light. First, is a big full moon shining spiritual energy on June 17th. Second, the summer “sun” solstice lights up on June 21st. I strongly encourage you to walk into the waterfall of light this week!

Let’s start with the full moon on June 17th. Apparently, this is a big one – there is going to be a very rare opening of light and divine activation with this full moon within our galaxy. These activations will call to our souls to awaken and to ascend to higher levels of consciousness. During this time, we become more enlightened and awaken to past pains or traumas we need to release to the light. I believe most people won’t notice or realize this enlightenment. Although they will have feelings bubble to the surface. The enlightenment comes when the feelings that bubble to the surface are looked at with new perspectives.

For example, I made a personal discovery this week in my relationships with my mother and sisters as it bubbled up this week a few different times. For some reason these relationships were many times challenging; meaning while I wanted a close relationship and at times it felt like a close relationship, many times it would be revealed to me later that is was not the close relationship I had thought. An easier analogy to understand would be Cinderella’s stepmother and her sisters. Cinderella was always trying to fit in, always eager to help, but just never made the final cut like going to the ball with the three of them. My mother always considers my other two sisters first before me. I grew up with a closer relationship to my father than my mother probably for this reason. Don’t get me wrong I love my mother and sisters, but we are just different on how we approach life. When I look back now, I see how my mother spent time with her two young daughters doing mother and daughter things like dance classes, scouts, shopping, etc. In our family of seven kids, I was number 5 while my other two sisters were number 2 and 3. I am thinking by the time number 5 came along wanting to do those things, my mother had done those things and was not interested. I didn’t get to take dance lessons. Funny enough, out of the three, I was the one singing and dancing around the house all the time. In college, I joined a singing and dancing group and felt my spirit come alive on the stage. I finally felt free to be me once I was living on my own.

Another thought bubble up to the surface this week that maybe my mother simply didn’t enjoy my personality like she did my sisters. Okay, I thought. I don’t like everybody, and I believe not everyone has to like me. I like me. So, it is okay if she doesn’t like me as much as she likes the others. I was always just a better fit with my dad than with my mom. Our personalities were more alike. We thought more alike. So, I am okay with this. I don’t have to be best friends with my mother or my sisters. I don’t have to keep trying to fit in. They call me when I can do something for them, but they don’t really call to just catch up. They want my help but on their terms. Many times, it feels like a one-way relationship. But maybe I am the one who must let it be and practice acceptance. I don’t have to be upset or bothered that once again mom went on and on about my sisters. I need to actively choose the voice of divine light over the voice of ego. I must choose to actively bless the situation and set it free into the light. And what’s more, I can be thankful. I am thankful because the events of the past have made me into the person I am today. I am happy with the person I am today. I like me. I am worthy. I am enough. (check out my last post if you missed it on being worthy and enough!)

This all bubbled up for me this week. I would have been totally unaware of it and how to look at it if I had not been tuned into Melanie Beckler and Tania Gabrielle, both of whom I like to follow on YouTube. However, both mentioned in their videos this week that the full moon energies gearing up were strong and going to bring up unresolved issues for us to look at again in the light. I was awakened to this unresolved issue. I feel I now have peace since looking at it in new light. Now I release it into the light to go forth more enlightened on my path.

So, be on the lookout for what bubbles up for you this week. Be open to look at it with new eyes. Be open to see all sides, to find a compromise, to find peace, and to release it to the light. In other words, be open to lose some of that baggage we all carry around to live lighter, to live happier.

Next, we have the Summer Solstice on June 21st in the northern hemisphere. The summer solstice is about forward movement and moving into the light. The sun will shine for the longest day of the year which also means the shortest night of the year. During the summer solstice the sun is at its highest point in the sky for the year. For more information along with some creative solstice celebrations, check out this post by Melanie Beckler:

Solstice Meaning and Celebrations

With the high vibrational spiritual energies surrounding both the full moon and the summer solstice, make sure to spend some time enjoying the sun and moon this week!

When I look at nature it is easy for me to see God’s hand in life. I look with wonder at the sky. A big fluffy cloud exudes such power. The sun’s rays provide warmth and light. The vastness of the number of stars in the sky astounds me. The playfulness of the moon changing size and locations makes me smirk as I look to find it in the sky. Mother nature is our mother earth. Gaia is the mother goddess who presided over earth according to Greek mythology. Many refer to Gaia as mother earth too. Our earth is about 4.54 billion years old. She has been around longer than we have. She has seen much more than we have. Thus, she is older and wiser. Spend some time enjoying mother nature this week to get back in touch with your own divine nature.

Make a point to notice the light coming from the sun, the light coming from the moon, the light shining from the stars this week. This light shines from universal source, our God. Remember you are made in the image of God. Light also shines forth from you. You come from light. You are light. Shine your light with a smile, some loving words, a helping hand, a hug or kiss, an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, a prayer of blessing for another. For you are the light!

I would love to hear from you. What do you think about this post? Has anything bubbled up for you? How do you like to enjoy mother nature? How do you shine your light in this world?

Christ Level Awareness from Within

Who was Jesus? Whether you are religious or not you have most likely heard the name Jesus. Who and what exactly Jesus was has been greatly debated for thousands of years. From my theological teachings, Jesus is before death and Christ is after death. Christ is the risen from the dead Jesus. Some say he was a great prophet. Some say he was the messiah. Some say he is the son of God. Some say he is an ascended master. Some say he is a great teacher. Some say he is just another human being. I say he is all those things. I also say that we have the same Christ power within each of us.

Jesus understood fully the divine power he held within his physical being. He was made in and of God just like you and me. We are all children of God. We each have God power within us. The difference is we do not accept it, believe it or use it as Jesus did in his lifetime. He did come to teach us the good news of God or Divine Source. His teachings have been compiled in the bible. He is not the only teacher of this good news. Many other teachers and philosophers have also shared “the secret” with us but for some reason not everyone is drawn to understanding how life works.

As I travel this path to deeper understanding, another synchronicity occurred as I came across the teachings of Florence Shinn. Florence Shinn was an author and teacher of metaphysics in the 1920’s. She wrote a book “The Game of Life and How to Play It.” I bought the book and read it. What a treasure trove of teachings it was! Most of the concepts were not new but she provided deeper understanding of these concepts through biblical teachings. She describes the bible as a metaphysical manual that when used properly will provide you with all the tools to a happy and successful life.

In 1920 she is sharing the same secrets as many others through the ages have shared including contemporary authors of “The Secret”; “Law of Attraction with Abraham Hicks”; “Conversations with God” and I could go on. The teachings are available for us all to have joyful, prosperous, and healthy lives. The question for me is why isn’t everyone interested in following these teachings?

I think the answer is most people continue to live in distortion and illusion. If you are wondering what I mean by that check out my earlier posts: Out of the Shadows, Into the Light; Distortion and Illusion; and Rest in the Divine Not in the Illusion. To live better lives, we must wake up to the fact we have to consciously partake in the creation of our lives. Stop living mindlessly in our days. Pay attention to our thoughts, our words, and our actions. Pay attention to what we give our focus to because that is what we are calling into our lives be it positive or negative.

I see the headlines flash on politics as I turn on my computer or my television and I could so easily lose myself in the drama of politics. I am mindful now not to give my energy or focus to the political stage designed to draw me in and take my energy from me. I am not sure what is fake news or real news anymore. In my community everyone is accepting of one another. I don’t feel the polarization portrayed in the news, but they want me too. I am learning to say no thank you to that life experience instead choosing joy, peace, and prosperity.

How do I choose differently? I choose differently by going within and connecting to my divine source. We each have this inner divine source and it goes by many names: soul; higher being; inner being; spirit; and the superconscious. Call it whatever you would like, just know that this is your direct communication link with God, Lord of All, Infinite Intelligence, or Source of All. Christ was fully aware of his direct link to God through his inner spirit.

Christ level awareness is knowing we are all powerful when we are in alignment with our divine spirit. This divine spirit lives within us. Divine spirit communicates to us through inspiration, feelings, and hunches. If we improve our communication skills with our divine spirit, then we will improve our lives. I have been working on developing my skills in this area through meditation, yoga, reading, journaling, prayer, and opening my psychic abilities. These are good self-development practices if you are interested in growing your communication with the divine. There is a wealth of information on the internet, in the library, and of course YouTube. What is right for you is what feels good to you. I get goose bumps when I come across certain teachings, then I know from within for this to be true for me. Has something given you goosebumps and resonated as true from within you? Please share in the comments below.

The celebration of Easter Sunday is coming up.  Easter is the celebration of new life for Jesus died but then Christ rose from the dead to new life.  The season of spring is a celebration of new life in nature all around us.  We, too, can live anew by choosing to live as ONE with our inner divine spirit.

In closing here is an ancient proverb that gave me goosebumps…

According to an old Hindu legend…there was once a time when all human beings were gods, but they so abused their divinity that Brahma, the chief god, decided to take it away from them and hide it where it could never be found.

Where to hide their divinity was the question. So, Brahma called a council of the gods to help him decide. “Let’s bury it deep in the earth,” said the gods. But Brahma answered, “No, that will not do because humans will dig into the earth and find it.” Then the gods said, “Let’s sink it in the deepest ocean.” But Brahma said, “No, not there, for they will learn to dive into the ocean and will find it.” Then the gods said, “Let’s take it to the top of the highest mountain and hide it there.” But once again Brahma replied, “No, that will not do either, because they will eventually climb every mountain and once again take up their divinity.” Then the gods gave up and said, “We do not know where to hide it, because it seems that there is no place on earth or in the sea that human beings will not eventually reach.”

Brahma thought for a long time and then said, “Here is what we will do. We will hide their divinity deep in the center of their own being, for humans will never think to look for it there.”

All the gods agreed that this was the perfect hiding place, and the deed was done. And since that time humans have been going up and down the earth, digging, diving, climbing, and exploring–searching for something already within themselves.
